It’s back to school and some of you are feeling the influx of new students in your town. Take time to read this. It was written beautifully by a friend:
Remember when you dropped your little one off at kindergarten? You were wide eyed, possibly trying to fight back tears and neither of you knew what was in store?
Well, these guys have 12-16ish years of school under their belts but in many ways they are still wide eyed, and their parents are still very hopeful that they will find a place to belong.
So, take a deep breath during the heavy traffic, and if one of those new or returning faces looks your way, perhaps you could offer them a smile or nod in return. They too are still figuring this life out, and a little kindness goes a long way!!!
